Morning Star Baptist Church is not just a place and is much more than a building! It is a collective group of people who desire an intimate relationship with God. There are some who desire to know Him better and still others who don't know Him at all. It is a diverse community of people with different backgrounds, races, personalities, ideas and visions; united by a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Morning Star is a family. A family with members of all ages, the majority of whom are between the ages 18 and 55. We are students, teachers, software designers, doctors, lawyers, cooks and stay-at-home moms. We work in retail, construction, hospitals and professional settings. We are brought together out of our desire to have a relationship with God and a desire to know him better. We hang out together, worship together and learn together. Our mission is that we reach out to seeking friends as we become committed, caring followers of Jesus Christ.

There is no set pattern or formula for what Morning Star is and we are as diverse as the people who gather here. Morning Star is, essentially, a family created by God and who are striving to know Him more.
